W7. Why free culture matters?

To briefly describe what I understand about free culture, a culture that can be modified, distributed and used without obtaining the creator's authority for any one content is called a "free culture."

In this regard, I asked my teacher a question when I was in high school while preparing for college entrance. Because I didn't think copyright was important at the time, I said, 'I think it's great to collect and develop images posted on the Internet and redesign them in the second and third stages.' However, the teacher was very angry and said that you wanted to make the AD so you should not be ignorant of copyright. Maybe that's why I'm still quite care to copyright.
While secondary creation is also important, how much change does it take from the original to be granted authority as a secondary creation? If there are no objective standards and free culture spreads, a chaotic Internet culture can only be created.
