Blog assignment 5. can we trust the wikipedia?

I think Wikipedia is a collective intelligence site that I can trust.

Wikipedia can be shared and edited by many people.
When people look at this point, trust may not come. But to post to Wikipedia, people need to add a reference. That means proving where people got the information. Therefore, trust in information can be enhanced.

In addition, Wikipedia is free for everyone, not just for a specific person. This part is credible not only for those with power, but also for everyone.
If only certain people can write, it can lead to misinformation and influence. But in the sense that everyone can participate, Wikipedia excludes the biased Characteristic of information.

Also, Wikipedia has the feature that it is currently in progress in that it can be modified. In other words, things like books and dictionaries do not change their information even if the times change. But Wikipedia has the ability to edit and delete it at any time. Therefore, it can be relied upon to change the surrounding environment so that when some information is erroneous, such parts can be modified immediately.
