W4. the edit that I have made to Wiki in last week

One of the writings I edited in wiki last week is "Pansori." I wrote about my first edit in this blog. As I mentioned there, I am very interested in 'Korean tradition and culture.' So all the categories I edit these days are related to this section. Many related information was written on "Pansori" because it is one of the traditional Korean music that many Koreans and foreigners are interested in. But the video of "Pansori" was not linked. So I attached an official YouTube link.
I also deleted the original writing about the meaning of "Pansori". It was too brief and lacking in explanation. And I found the data and wrote a new explanation. I also explained how much traditional Korean music is worth.

However, I was concerned about copyright when I attached a YouTube link. The person who filmed the performance "Pansori" uploaded it to YouTube, and I attached it to Wiki again in a link format. Is there nothing wrong with my copyright? In fact, besides "Pansori," I have often wanted to attach voice or actual performance videos in relation to other traditional Korean music. This is the first challenge.
Can I keep trying like this?

  1. I think it's a pity that concerns about copyright have caused problems in updating information. To address that concern, it seems that the first task to be solved is to acquire sufficient knowledge of copyright. Also, it would be nice to find out how copyright works in Wikipedia. I hope you will use the video to improve the quality of your information!
