4.My edits of this week.(MaShang)
This time I made some edit on the fashion-application “Little Red Book” on Wikipedia. I added some content to introduce Little Red Book, but I overlooked a very important aspect. I could not directly copy the content extracted from other encyclopedias to Wikipedia. I found a few days later that someone re-edited my content and summarized the content I copied directly from Baidu Baike, thus avoiding the problem of plagiarism. I entered the personal homepage of the person who re-edited my edited content. He had many personal tags, one of which was “I hate copying from other encyclopedias”.
His personal tags were very interesting. For example, “the user does not want to be an webmaster”; “the user thinks that Chinese-edition Wikipedia does not need strict webmasters”; “the user thinks that Baidu’s control of its ranking and Baidu Baike hinder the development of Chinese Wikipedia”, etc. When I found that my edited content was re-edited, I was actually unhappy, but then I realized that I took the wrong method to edit.
